LPW - Illinois, 11J, 6S, 14K multicolor gold false box hinge original S&S HC with spectacular engraving detail, rear with central rose gold star with six inset diamonds which is surrounded at perimeter by multicolor floral detail, front with rose gold shield having engraved name and surrounded by multicolor floral detail, gold cuvette, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#593537. Gross weight of assembled watch 42.8 dwt (66.6 g). A superb multicolor gold hunting case with notably ornate and vibrant detail.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, some scattered small fine to micro-fine scratches, some small surface spots; dial with hl at 12, faint hl above seconds-register, tiny flake to upper perimeter of seconds-register; excellent hands, slight bend to tip of minute; case shows hardly any wear, no dents or dings, superb engraving detail, case front lift spring is only contacting lid to open a bit past the halfway point and lid must be manually opened the remainder but hinge is sufficiently tight to prevent it from tipping back with gravity; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
